One of the great perks of a newborn session is that the weather does not factor in. This sweet baby’s session was held on a very dreary blustery day, but that didn’t stop us. Baby M did as most people love to do on days such as this…slept right through the storm. While she was floating through dreamland we were afforded the opportunity to obtain some beautiful pictures. This session was unique to others because we used a blanket that was sentimental to the family. This special touch adds an extra heartfelt affect to the photos.

Sweet Baby Girl | Houston TX Newborn Photographer

This family booked a mini session with me for the first time last July. This year I am the lucky shutterbug who took newborn photos for this cute guy’s new sister. This was an exciting photo shoot because mom knew what she wanted and had great new ideas. Baby T was the perfect sleeping beauty, she enjoyed dreamland and we were able to acquire priceless pictures that mom and dad will forever treasure.

The Weather is Getting Warmer | Magnolia, TX Child Photographer

This is one of those sessions that we had anticipated warmer spring weather, but got a nice chill. However, this young lady was a real trooper; she warmed us with her sunny disposition. Now this beautiful young lady belongs to a family of dear friends that live down the street. We took these pictures for her 10th birthday. Her dad is going to have to keep a gun on his hip as she grows older because she is becoming more and more beautiful every year! Thank goodness I have a boy!

We Sing Silly Songs | Houston TX Child Photographer

Today I had to breakout a song a dance routine to coax this bonny baby into laughter. We had to be inventive to coax some laughter and smiles. However, after pulling out all of our tricks, she was entertained by a 15th century parody tune… “The Grand Old Duke Of York”… We became a broken record and repeated it over and over and over again. It’s one of those songs that once its in your head…. No worries though, I don’t mind its always worth it. I must add this is one of the most adorable models I have. Not that I am bias or anything, but it is an added bonus is she is part of my family. I therefore have the privilege of watching her grow through the years and through the progression of photos I get to take of her. I love taking her pictures! No nepotism here for sure!!!

There’s two to kiss and two to hug, and best of all there’s two to love! | Katy TX Newborn Photographer

Mommy and Daddy couldn’t agree more. Hand in hand is just how these tiny darlings arrived in the world so it only makes sense that they preferred to be snuggled up together in their first photo shoot. Mom and Dad will surely have their hands full with these two and they could not be more happy about it! It was easy to understand why on the afternoon I spent with this precious pair, both sleeping peacefully throughout most of their session. Baby beau A didn’t make a peep as we knotted the impossibly tiny tie around his neck and mademoiselle A continued snoozing as we adjusted her girly accessories just so. Keep in mind that it is usually best to schedule newborn sessions before babies are two weeks old- They sleep deeper and, as the little duo exhibits here, are much easier to pose!
